I've been trying not to focus on the food and what I can and can't eat. We're only 3 days in but I'm happy to say that the food hasn't been much of an issue. I've started the first of many grocery store runs to prevent lack of food from causing me to think about it more.
I'm a little surprised that it's not the food that I miss. I get to work at 6:30am and it's been really cold the past few days. They're perfect hot chocolate and Earl Grey days. It's these hot drinks I miss the most. It's not so much the drink itself but the heat of the drink that I miss on cold mornings. Heating up water is gross and heated juice is even worse.
I guess it's time to make another grocery store run for some decaf Earl Grey and a bottle of honey.

Hot apple juice isn't bad with a hint of cinnamon. Are spices permitted?!?!?! LOL
I never thought about that before since room temperature apple juice tastes terrible. I didn't think to heat it further. lol
I guess it would be like cider and 'yes' spices are permitted. Just be on the safe side, I'm going with naturally occuring spices. That means for me, cinnamon is cool but Old Bay isn't. lol Still, I don't know if there's a general rule. I'm just guessing.
Hot apple juice actually sounds worth trying. Good idea!
